Strength and Power Program
Pride Sports Performance Centre
This program will concentrate on developing the general athlete to a more sport specific athlete. The development process will begin with basic body control, good technique and form, sport movement and patterns, in a gradual progression to allow the body to properly adapt to the loads of training.
Goals:
- To strive and develop flawless skillful movements to enhance sports performance.
- To achieve total athleticism by developing: dynamic and static flexibility, aerobic and anaerobic energy systems, coordination, balance, agility, quickness, strength, speed, and power.
- To be educated on nutrition/fluids and how they apply to life long health and improved sports performance.
- Establish base line test data in: strength, power, speed, quickness, agility, and aerobic and anaerobic endurance.
- To increase self confidence, self esteem and a path to life long health and fitness.
We offer the Following Programs:
- Youth (12-14 yrs old)
- Young Adults (15-18 yrs old)
- Amateurs (18-22 yrs college or club)
- Weekend Athletes (Adult Sports)
- Youth Team Program (12-14 yrs old)
- Young Adult Team Program (15-18 yrs old)
Frequency: 2 to 4 sessions per week
Duration: 8 and 12 week programs
