Sports Vision Training

Pride Sports Performance Centre

What type of vision do athletes need for their sport?

20/20 vision is not enough. There are more specific components needed in athletics such as: the ability to focus quickly, track fast moving objects (balls, puck, people), peripheral vision (side to side, up and down), perceptual awareness (what's going on around you), and visualization (the ability to see things happen in the mind).

What is Sport Vision Training?

A training program that works specifically on the functional skills of the eyes.

How would this help enhance sports performance?

By enhancing the functional skills mentioned above the athlete will be able to process the situation faster, therefor be able to react and move faster and or predict what is needed next.

Athletes use their eyes all the time so why do they need to train them?

Just as with training any other component of athleticism (speed, agility, quickness, etc.), to become better (visually), athletes need to train their visual skills.

Program cost: $100.00

Includes a sports vision evaluation and a vision training program specific to your sport.

Additional training available at extra cost.
