Strength/Power Program

Youth (age 12-14 years olds)

 

Frequency: 2 - 3x/week

Duration: 8 - 12 weeks programs

Length of session: 1 hour

 

Goals:

1. To develop the body as a whole to improve overall athleticism.

2. To educate the athlete on proper technique with all exercises.

3. To understand and establish base line data on: strength/power

 

Young individuals at this stage are eager to start learning about what they can do to become better athletes and how to stay in better health. The staff here at Pride Sports Performance Centre (PsPc) are committed to continuously educate the youth on how to better improve their athletic endeaver and health and fitness. With that in mind, we believe that proper form and function with all exercises need to be mastered before adding on increased resistance to the body. Each athlete will be educated on how to use proper form for all lifting exercises.

One of the motovating factors with this age group is their eagerness to get started and what happens is they end up doing too much too fast. When these two element of training are combined the potential for injury and failure to succeed are great. We at PSPC will make sure that each individual will be put on a program that will allow for a gradual progression of training that allows for the growth of the individual's body to help in the prevention of injuries.

All athletes will receive a one hour nutritional education seminar that will help them make healthier choices not only for before and after practices/games but for the rest of their lives.

 

 

Cost per individual:

8 week Program:

    2x/week - $20.00/session ($320.00)   

    3x/week - $17.50/session ($420.00)

12 week Program:

    2x/week - $17.50/session ($420.00)

    3x/week - 15.00/session ($540.00)
