Strength/Power Program

Weekend athlete (Adult Sport)

 

Frequency: 2 - 4x/week

Duration: 8 & 12 week programs

Length: 1 - 1.5 hours

 

Goals:

1. Develop perfect technique with each exercise.

2. Establish and develop all areas of athleticism: dynamic and static flexibility, coordination, balance, agility, quickness, speed, power, aerobic and anaerobic energy systems.

3. Establish and develop basic and advance sports skill movement and patterns to help prevent injury.

4. To become educated on the importance of proper nutrition and fluid intake for optimal sports performance and recovery.

5. Establish a base line data in the following areas: strength, speed, quickness, power, agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, aerobic and anaerobic energy systems.

 

 

Establishing a habit of proper training before the weekend to avoid minor and major injurys are the keys to this program. The athlete will be assessed daily for intensity and volume of training for the day. The importance of gradual progression will be utilized throughout the program and emphasized every training session so that injury is kept to a minimum.

 

Cost per individual:

8 week program:

16 sessions ($30.00/session) - 2x/week - $480.00

24 sessions ($28.00/session) - 3x/week - $672.00

32 sessions ($26.00/session) - 4x/week - $832.00

12 week program: 

 

24 sesssions ($28.00/session) - 2x/week - $672.00 

32 sessions ($26.00/session) - 3x/week - $936.00

48 sessions ($24.00/session) - 4x/week - $1152.00
